Let us see how to use cmd (Command Prompt) to determine which version of Python is installed on your Windows OS system.<\/p>\n
Steps to be followed:<\/strong><\/p>\n Thus, if Python is installed on your system and the path is also specified in the Environment Variables, the first command will directly display the version of Python installed on your operating system, as shown below.<\/p>\n When you type the first<\/strong> command python –version it directly displays the version<\/p>\n If you run the second<\/strong> command, “python,” this command will run Python.exe and display the version number as shown below:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n If Python is not properly installed on your machine, you will observe the following:<\/p>\n\n
